#126 – My 5 favourite songs ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽง

Here’s my top 5 favourite songs of all time and they’ve been there for a while now! In no particular order here’s a playlist I find myself listening to as often as I can. It’s my 22 minutes of bliss anytime these songs are playing.

  • Come and Get Your Love by Redbone
  • Beast of burden by the Rolling Stones
  • Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon
  • Like a rolling stone by Bob Dylan
  • The Weight by the Band

The song the weight by the band is my favourite song of all time. There’s a timeless feel to this 60’s classic. The beautiful way the song starts off and we’re on a journey the whole time. I’ve always appreciated a song that tells a story and I really love the story the Band tell with the Weight.

I’ll link a fun YouTube clip from easy rider too which was actually the first place this song grabbed me. It’s just beautiful to me.

I hope you listen, enjoy and share the music with others ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ

  1. How did I miss come and get your love by redbone?
It’s sad that I remember it as the Peter Quill song

Even though I am 60s music enthusiast
Listening to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Anka, Elvis, Everly brothers but how can I miss this out. Thank you very much sir

  2. Those are all outstanding- “Like A Rolling Stone’ has been sitting at #1 on my countdown since the first time I heard it- in the late 70’s.
