#241- Essential Halloween watching

The Halloween spooky film watching has already begun in my house. We’ve already watched child’s play 1 & 2, Poltergeist, Wolf, The Mothman Prophecies and onto the Conjuring 1 & 2 tonight. There’s a list of films that have to be watched around one of my favourite times of year. This year I want to see some more of them in the cinema, I’ve seen the shining a couple of times on the big screen now and it’s such an amazing film on the big screen.

My favourite horror films deal with ghosts, killers and the paranormal. I love some of the classics but what scares me is the practical effects and real settings with a horrifying twist. My own top 10 personal favourites for a full Halloween night of horror is as follows;

10. Daybreakers

9. The Conjuring 1 & 2

8. The Thing

7. Bram Stoker’s Dracula

6. Halloween

5. Scream

4. The Omen

3. Cape Fear

2. The Exorcist

1. The Shining

I’m hoping to see Bram Stoker’s Dracula, The Lost Boys, The Thing and maybe The Omen or The Exorcist in the cinema this year. So fingers crossed this Halloween I get to see a few of the Horror classics at the cinema.
