*The Story *
Robert De Niro’s in debt to the Mob and thinks up a new insurance scam to try pay them off. De Niro has to try and kill his new lead actor for a film in order to cash the insurance check and make enough money for his dream project.
*My thoughts *
I really enjoyed this movie I sat down last week one early morning and I had nothing to do and I saw this film on Now tv. I watched a trailer and thought oh hell yeah this looks like so much fun. I was not disappointed this film had me cracking up and laughing at the situations and actions of some of its characters namely De Niro. There’s a bit of a Mel Brooks Producers vibe here about this film and that’s never a bad thing especially with a comedy.
The star studded cast too is another fun reason to watch this one. The story isn’t ever really elevated with some big dramatic scene or emotional weight although sometimes with Tommy Lee Jones we see some of this. But that man’s face tells about 100 different stories of a lifetime. Overall is you want a laugh and an easy watch film enjoyable, silly, hilarious at times and always fun to watch then try out this sky original film.
Just like the movie I’m going to keep this one short and sweet 👌👍 have a great day guys I’m feelin good today.
