My girlfriend just recently had a birthday and I thought I’d get her a real proper birthday cake. Not a store bought one but one specifically made with everything she likes.
So we got a cake here that stands at about a foot tall. There’s four layers of chocolate and Dairymilk chocolate poured over the top. Then on the top there was dairymilk chocolate pieces and a nice little bottle of pink gin just to go with your slice. I was so impressed with this when I saw it I started laughing because it was so elaborate and I couldn’t believe it was even a real cake.
Now if you’re looking at this and you’re anything like me you’ll be wondering how do you even cut something like this. It’s so physically big for a cake I definitely was pondering this myself. Well the answer is you cut it carefully and with a really big knife. Then you’ve got an enormous slice that honestly if cut in half is enough for 2 or 3 people. This cake could easily serve 50 people.
The fact that I bought this off my cousin from her bakery is even more incredible. She’s been doing this over a year now and I left it way too long to try something of here. Needless to say I’ll be getting a cake or cupcakes from Lous Sweet Sensations in the future. 10/10 would eat this again. My biggest concern now is making sure we use it all so feel free to call to the door for a slice if you’re in the Limerick City area, just do it quickly because it’s delicious.
