I was reading a list of Hunter S Thompson’s favourite 18 songs and I thought I’d do the same. Here’s my favourite 18 songs as of the morning of Friday the 13th,August 2021.

  1. I love this list. I couldn’t do it. I would need a list of my top 3,000 because my favorites change with my mood. But almost every artist on here would make it on my list, although I would pick different songs.

    I also saw your comment on your ringtone. Mine has been Highway 61 Revisited forever and a year. That opening whistle is so unique, you can practically hear your phone on silent! Also have specific ones for individuals, such as Rolling Stones for my sisters, Lou Reed for my parents, Cabaret for my bank, Metallica for my ex, and Cher for my besties. Music speaks in a way no other language can. Thank you!

    1. Oh well mine change too and so often it’s probably different if I were to do another 18 next week haha. Oh that’s a great ringtone and yeah it’s so specific to just that song and I love it, gives it a carnival vibe almost. Ah that’s great! I definitely associate songs and even artists with people in my life too haha. Metallica for the ex is a funny choice I love it!

      So true about music, I’d love to be able to carry a tune or play an instrument but I’m happy being a huge fan at least haha
